About Inqyre

Built by people who have run payments at scale.

Inqyre AI was built from firsthand experience of what merchant onboarding looks like inside acquiring teams when complexity rises faster than the systems supporting it.

Our Vision

Merchant onboarding should not slow revenue, but it often does in payments operations.

Inqyre brings structure, speed, and clarity to onboarding across PSP teams. AI agents process merchant and risk signals in real time, so applications follow consistent logic instead of fragmented review steps.

This reduces delays for PSPs between application and activation, and speeds up time to first transaction for merchants without repeated checks or unclear status.

The goal is simple: make onboarding controlled, understandable, and not a blocker to revenue on either side.

Founder Story

Built By People Who Have Run Payments At Scale

Inqyre AI was built from this context, as a structured approach to improving consistency in onboarding while preserving decision ownership within PSP teams rather than replacing it.

Jay Nair, Founder and CEO of Inqyre AI, brings over 25 years of experience across Amazon, Worldpay, Equifax, and American Express, where he has worked across product, operations, and leadership roles within the acquiring side of payments.

Across these roles, onboarding followed a consistent underlying structure. Merchant activity, financial position, MCC classification, KYB checks, and scheme requirements all needed to be assessed and connected across multiple steps, often involving multiple teams. As transaction volumes increased, maintaining consistency in this process relied increasingly on manual coordination, review cycles, and cross-functional alignment.

The challenge was not understanding what needed to be done. It was the absence of a practical mechanism to bring these inputs together in a consistent way and generate decisions without increasing operational burden.

From The Founder
In over two decades in payments, I have seen fragmented onboarding processes slow down growth at every level. The complexity was always understood, but there was no reliable way to handle it at scale without adding more manual effort. That is what has changed now.
- Jay Nair, Founder and CEO, Inqyre AI

Today, these inputs can be processed collectively and applied through payments-specific logic, enabling onboarding decisions to be structured more consistently and executed closer to real time.

The Team

Meet the people building Inqyre

The team behind Inqyre brings together experience from across the acquiring side of payments and the engineering required to support it. The focus is on building systems that reflect how onboarding decisions are made and ensuring they work reliably as volumes scale.
